As a Leadership EQ coach one technique I love to apply in my daily life as a leader is the “Learning by Reflection” technique.

How can this technique help the hashtag#leaders grow?

Let me explain 🙂

There may be many instances where there may be a conflict in your idea and your team members idea/way of working/. Conflict affects the hashtagrelationship because then starts a Communication gap between you and your team member/members which may take an ugly turn.

It’s important for leaders to maintain an healthy and free work environment in the office 🏬. If the leaders are Emotionally Intelligent they will create a #safe space for their team members to voice their opinions freely.
If the leaders are Emotionally Intelligent they will look at the bigger picture rather than getting caught up in small conflicts .
Here practicing self awareness and self regulations of emotions helps .

One technique to raise the self awareness is the Reflection technique.

  • Look at the conflict/ incident from a different perspective.
  • Practice empathy.. It helps a lot because you understand from where of the other person coming from
  • Jot this down if possible
  • Plan your action and behaviour according to the learnings derived by hashtag#Reflection.
This will help the leaders create an healthy team and improve hashtag#Interpersonal relationships based on which the team grows and the organisation grows 🙂
